Book My Car NYC (“we,” “us”) provides black-car and airport chauffeur booking services in the New York metro area and beyond. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website and booking tool, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: reservations@bookmycarnyc.com.

• Contact details — name, email, and phone number you provide when booking or contacting us.
• Trip details — pickup and drop-off locations, date and time, vehicle class, flight number, passenger count, and any notes or special requests.
• Account information — if you create an account, the rides and preferences saved to it.
• Payment information — when paid online, card details are entered directly into our payment processor (Stripe) and tokenized. We never see or store your full card number. We retain only a reference token and the card's brand and last four digits.
• Concierge messages — the content of chats you have with our AI concierge, used to answer you and follow up.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, and similar information automatically recorded in server logs for security and reliability.

To provide, confirm, and service your rides; to contact you about a booking; to process payment; to provide support; to operate, secure, and improve our service; and to comply with legal obligations. We do not use your information for third-party advertising.

We share information only with the providers that help us run the service, under contract and only as needed:

• Vercel — hosting and secure storage of reservations and site content.
• Stripe — payment processing, when a card payment is used.
• Resend / Web3Forms — delivery of booking confirmations and notifications by email.
• Anthropic (Claude) — powers the AI concierge; your messages are processed to generate replies.
• Google — optional page translation, and measurement of our own advertising only after you accept the cookie notice (no measurement runs before consent).
• Google Translate — optional, only if you choose another language.

We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We use a small number of essential technologies: a cookie that remembers your chosen language, and browser local storage that keeps you signed in and remembers a booking in progress. These are required for the site to work. We do not currently use advertising cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will ask for your consent first.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you may request access to, or deletion of, the personal information we hold, and to know what we collect. We do not sell or “share” personal information.

EU/UK residents (GDPR): you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction, and may object to certain processing.

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, then delete or anonymize it. We protect data with encryption in transit, payment tokenization, and access controls. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

Our service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. Our providers process and store data in the United States; by using the service you understand your information may be processed there.
